Markus Siering · Hamburg
I build websites that can’t fall over.
Frontend engineer. Lotteries and insurance by day — the kind of traffic that punishes a bad architecture decision. Design systems and well written CSS throughout.
- Now
- Senior Frontend Engineer at Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. Regulated platforms, a lot of traffic, very little tolerance for downtime.
- Since 2020
- Leading the development team behind Redezeit für Dich, and maintaining the architecture I set up for it.
- Before
- Three years at zolar, behind the energy transition. UI Architect, then team lead, at sum.cumo.
- Off the clock
- Family. Fitness. Self Improvement.
Five years and counting
Redezeit für Dich
A free listening service. Over 350 trained volunteers give their time to anyone who needs someone to talk to. Non-profit, started in Hamburg in March 2020. I lead the development team behind the platform, and I set up and still maintain the architecture it runs on.
